When I am walking in the sidewalks I do not feel safe because the cars or the busses which can easily drive into the sidewalk. The vehicles become like a weapon, which can injure or even kill the pedestrians. To avoid this, large blocks of steel and concrete appear in these cities and other locations of great importance. Some of them are very unergonomic and stop people from moving freely, furthermore, during mass panic it is very hard to evacuate. Fear has become a part of architecture in these cities. After considering all these things, a question popped into my head - do the aggressive large blocks of cold steel and concrete make you feel safe in the city? This question is important to all the cities. Vehicles can become a weapon of mass destruction by a various way: terrorist attacks, irresponsible driving, health issues. This problem should be solved by looking into life and infrastructure of the each city.
HERO is a mean to prevent attacks and accidents when a vehicle is involved. The form and the aesthetic was the main goal of this project. The form is designed to fluently adapt to cities’ infrastructure and add new features, like a bicycle racks at the ends of it and the place for the plants in the middle. You can add additional features like a trash bin, which can be separated into sections for recycling and a bulletin board. The form is highlighted by LED lighting.

HERO can become the hero of the city by adding individual names for each. Every city has special places with names like “Haneris”, “Paminklas”, “Zalgirio stadionas”. By adding graphic elements, you can create personas, which protect the citizens of the city. This would become a place to get together, a place for a discussion or just a memorable place of the city.
